Why we lost in Darfur

In the battle of Darfur versus us, we lost. There was a time, probably three or four years ago, where we might've been able to win, but not anymore. Now, for the time being, we've lost Darfur.

Hindsight is 20/20. But with Darfur there is no hindsight. There are no lessons to be gleaned for the next time about how to end genocide. Everything we know now we knew then. Each opportunity we let slide, we did so consciously.
