Fighting maternal, child health no small task

Every year, more than half a million women die in pregnancy and nearly 9 million children die before their fifth birthday. This is a true and grievous fact, one that Prime Minister Stephen Harper highlighted during his much-anticipated speech to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland last week.
